Privacy Policy

What we collect
When you sign up we store your email address, first name, city, the name of your matrimony site, your matrimony profile ID and your Instagram handle. We also store the requests you send and receive, whether they were accepted, and the chat messages you exchange with your matches. If you create a dating profile we also store your date of birth, gender, who you want to see, bio, interests, photos, and who you liked or passed on.
Why we collect it
We use this information only to let people who have your matrimony ID ask for your Instagram, to show you their Instagram first, and to share yours only when you accept. We use your email to send login codes and to tell you about requests.
Who can see what
Before you accept a request, other users can see only your first name, city and matrimony ID. Your Instagram handle is shown only to people whose request you accepted. Your dating profile and photos are shown to other members who use dating and match your settings; your date of birth is never shown, only your age. Who you liked is never shown unless you both liked each other. Chat messages are visible only to you and the match you sent them to. Your email is never shown to other users.
Consent and your rights
You give consent when you sign up. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can access, correct or erase your data at any time. You can pause your profile, unshare with any match, or delete your account from the Account section. Deleting removes your profiles, photos, likes, requests, matches and all your chat messages from our database.
Where it is stored
Data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Login and notification emails are sent through Resend. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Age
This service is only for people aged 18 or older.
